welcome to my virtual bookshelf!!
my goal this year is to finish 50 books, so i thought id make a list here, maybe with some reviews/thoughts/whatever :P.
book 1: Into the Wild Light, by Jeff Zetner. Jan 1st-11th. 4.5/5 ★'s notes: i read this one for my school book club, and i really liked it. it was very cute while also being pretty heartbreaking.
book 2: Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute, by Talia Hibbert. Jan 11th-16th. 2.5/5 ★'s notes: another one for book club, it wasnt really someting i would pick up on my own, cuz romance isnt really my genre of choice. i didnt find it enjoyable to read.
book 3: my local learners test manual by the government. jan 20th. notes: its my reading goal, and i say it counts.
book 4: Stardust, by Neil Gaiman. Jan 25th-Feb 1st. 4.5/5 ★'s. notes: i am generally a pretty big fan of Neil Gaimans work, and i did really like this book. it was pretty fun to read, and the fairy tale vibe was nice.
book 5: the Marrow Theives, by Cherie Dimaline. Dec2023-Jan 31st. 3.5/5 ★'s. notes: the reason this took so long was cuz it was a novel study, and i had like ten million questions to do between chapters. even though i was reading ahead of the class i still tried to stay relativley close.
